Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2025
Wiki Rabbit (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the Wiki Rabbit app on your device.
We Do Not Collect Personal Data
Wiki Rabbit does not require an account. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
Session-Only Personalization
The app may personalize your feed during a single session (e.g. “Session For You” mode) based on how you interact with articles—what you like, skip, or open. This information is used only on your device for that session and is not sent to our servers or stored after you leave the app.
No Tracking
We do not use tracking identifiers, analytics, or third-party SDKs to track you across apps or websites. Your use of Wiki Rabbit is not linked to your identity.
Wikipedia Content
Article text and metadata are loaded from Wikipedia. Your device may communicate with Wikipedia’s servers to fetch content. Wikipedia’s own privacy practices apply to that traffic. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Wikimedia Foundation. Wikipedia text is used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app may store locally on your device things like your “rabbit hole” trail for the session, theme preference (e.g. light/dark), or other in-app settings. Saved articles are also stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to us.
Children
Wiki Rabbit does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for general audiences as indicated by its age rating.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
